Cullowhee brush fire chars 40-50 acres

Cullowhee firefighters spent some seven hours Saturday (Feb. 25)  battling a brush fire near East LaPorte and then returned to the scene Sunday (Feb. 26) when the blaze re-ignited. Shell station to be demolished, new station and Dairy Queen to be built

Mustangs win playoff opener

Arrest made in connection with SMHS fire
