Commissioners OK radio, Jackson Paper loans

In a special meeting this afternoon (Dec. 12), commissioners voted 4-0 to approve a $110,000 loan to 540 Broadcasting Company. That loan when combined with a Dec. 5 loan of $179,000 will enable Roy Burnette, who started 540 Broadcasting Company, to restart radio service for Jackson County. Moody found in contempt of court; funeral home is closed

Mustangs top Tuscola in conference opener

Cleaveland to step down as AD

Webster, HomTex, DSS, SCC team up to offer training for local textile jobs

Fish leads Lady Mustangs to win

Commissioners OK construction drawings for SMHS fine arts center/gym
