Softball, baseball lose
Smoky Mountain’s softball team gave Pisgah, the state’s top-ranked 2-A team, all it could handle Tuesday before the Sugar Bears escaped with a 3-2 Western Athletic Conference win at Canton.
The Mustang baseball team dropped an 11-9 decision.
