Cherokee defeats Mustangs

Cherokee scored three touchdowns in the second quarter and went on to a 22-15 victory over Smoky Mountain in the season’s first football game Friday at Cherokee. The Mustangs have dropped 13 straight games dating back to the 2008 season.
