Sylva’s second Pedestrian Plan Steering Committee meeting set for Feb. 9

Sylva’s Pedestrian Plan Steering Committee will hold its second meeting from 5:30-7:30 p.m.Tuesday, Feb. 9, at City Hall.
The purpose of the steering committee is to help board members create Sylva’s Comprehensive Pedestrian Plan, which is being developed to improve the walking conditions in and around Sylva, as well as establish connections with Dillsboro and Webster.
Steering committee members include Todd Halbert, Jeanette Evans, RPO Planner for the Southwestern Commission Ryan Sherby, Ronnie Sloan, NCDOT Division of Bicycle and Pedestrian Transportation representative John Vine-Hodge, Public Works Director Dan Schaeffer, Town Manager Adrienne Isenhower, Downtown Sylva Association Director Julie Sylvester and Sylva board member Sarah Graham.
