Mustangs defeat West

Smoky Mountain’s men’s basketball team defeated West Henderson 63-46 Tuesday in an Appalachian Athletic Conference game at the SM gym. Jackson Simmons scored 21 points for the Mustangs, and Will Carpenter had 17.

West won the women’s game 56-50. Alex Taylor led the Lady Mustangs with nine points.
