Chris Matheson selected to serve on Sylva board
Sylva’s former Economic Development Commission representative Chris Matheson was selected by members to serve on Sylva’s board.
Matheson was sworn into office at the town’s Thursday night meeting (Dec. 3), following the inauguration of board members Stacy Knotts and Danny Allen and Mayor Maurice Moody.
Knotts was also selected to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore.
The board will meet next at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, in the municipality hall’s board room.
