Brevard games postponed
The possibility of inclement weather has caused Smoky Mountain’s home Thursday night basketball games with Brevard to be moved to Friday, when they were originally scheduled to be played. Jackson County is not covered by the winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service, but Transylvania County is. Brevard school officials postponed the games even though the warning is not scheduled to take effect until midnight. The games had been moved from Friday in hopes of beating the winter weather.
