Cherokee fire causes Parkway closing, burn ban

S.C. man is arrested on drug charges

Officers with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Friday (April 24) arrested Jerry Lee Trantham, 56, of Central, S.C. Student dies as result of drug overdose

Smoky Mountain High School Principal Jay Grisson today confirmed that sophomore Brandon Ball, 16, died due to complications from a drug overdose.
